Steph (she/her) is a queer writer and English professor. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing Young Adult Literature and believes all stories should have an element of hope, no matter how dark. Her novel Come Back Alive was longlisted for the Voyage Literary “Love & War” contest, and her work has also appeared in Five Minute Lit., Lunch Ticket Literary Journal, Bright Flash Literary Review, Five Minutes Literary, Just Femme & Dandy Magazine, and Sad Girls Diaries Literary.
She lives and spends most of her time outside in the Pacific Northwest with her spouse, their teenager, and two dogs who are too big for their house. She’s an active member of the Pacific Northwest Writers Association, the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and United Women on the Fly.
